Supervisor - Production Planning & Control

The Production Planning & Control Supervisor will coordinate all maintenance efforts between the shops and maintenance for Aircraft production. The PPC Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating maintenance at the AVIM level. He will act as a mentor and advisor to the AVUM and support their maintenance efforts when requested. He will monitor maintenance flow and trend in order to input solutions to maximize maintenances schedules on site. The PPC Supervisor is one of the primary maintenance advisors for internal production and maintenance activities within the AVIM. The PC Supervisor will over see the daily operation of personnel in the production control office and assist the shop personnel where needed Will also be responsible to: 1. Coordinate maintenance efforts with both the AVUM key personnel and AVIM Managers. 2. Support the maintenance mission as an Advisor to the AVIM Manager and Customer. 3. Coordinate Workshops and Logistics into the daily maintenance workflow. 4. Will be the primary Facilitator of the daily PC meeting. 5. Track aircraft Operational Readiness Rate for all fleet aircraft and prepare monthly reports with the PCP’s. 6. Responsible for the internal management and administration of the PC section. 7. Establish and Maintain Controlled Exchange Procedures for the AVIM and support the AVUM in their program. 8. Coordinate External Maintenance and Logistic Support. 9. Responsible for the PCP’s daily duties are completed and supported. 10. Will work with the SOC POC for BDAR / DART Procedures. 11. Coordinate scheduling of the Aircraft Phase Maintenance Program. 12. Will validate the PCP end of month close out reports and customer notes.

Qualification
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance (A&P License ) High School Diploma ARMY Aviation Maintenance Managers School (ANCOC) is desired. Military aviation maintenance training school graduate required. BA or BS in any aviation discipline preferred. FAA A&P certificate and FCC license or equivalent preferred with no prior FAR violations. Full working knowledge of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) and reporting system. Understands shop management and component repair at level 2/3.
Experience
- Aviation Maintenance Management Experience at the Army AVUM, AVIM Level, or equivalent civilian experience at a designated FAA repairs station. - Experience in Production Control. - Must have worked in; Unit AVUM/AVIM level at the production control/quality control section at the supervisory level. - Had direct maintenance management experience in the unit’s production Control and or Quality sections. - Civilian experience in lieu of this specialized school will be; work position in a, supervisory position at a FAA repair facility, minimum of 15 years. - Has an understanding of the Logistics system and the direct relationship with aviation maintenance.
